Vision & Expectations

Community Vision

Our vision is to build an online sanctuary where conservative Protestant Christian gamers can find respite, fellowship, and spiritual growth. While we are not a replacement for a local church, we aim to foster a supportive and encouraging community that upholds Christian values, promotes positive and respectful interactions, and provides a space where gamers can share their passion for gaming while growing in their faith. Together, we strive to create an environment that balances fun and faith, ensuring every member feels valued, connected, and inspired.

Member Expectations

  1. Respectful Communication: Treat all members with respect and kindness. No profanity, offensive language, harassment, or discriminatory language will be tolerated. This includes abbreviations such as "lmao", "omg", etc. and applies to ALL channels of communication, including in-game and voice chat.
  2. Family-Friendly Content: Keep conversations and shared content appropriate for all ages, avoiding explicit language, innuendos, images, and discussions and, again, applies to ALL channels of communication, including in-game and voice chat.
  3. Faith-Centered Discussion: Engage in discussions that encourage spiritual growth and reflect Christian values. Be respectful of differing beliefs and interpretations within the Christian faith. As a community as a whole, we align with the beliefs listed on our Foundational Beliefs page.
  4. Encouragement and Support: Foster a positive atmosphere by offering encouragement, support, and prayer for fellow members.
  5. Gaming with Integrity: Play fair and demonstrate good sportsmanship. Cheating, exploiting, or any form of dishonest behavior in multiplayer games is prohibited.
  6. Conflict Resolution:
    1. Handle disagreements with grace and humility, following the biblical principles outlined in Matthew 18:15-17. Seek to resolve conflicts privately and respectfully, involving Vry'kodin only if absolutely necessary.
    2. Avoid using definitive language (e.g., "never," "always") during conflict resolution, as it can escalate tensions and hinder productive dialogue.
  7. Privacy and Safety: Respect the privacy of others by not sharing personal information, including DM's, without consent with the exception of reporting any suspicious or harmful behavior to Vry'kodin immediately.
  8. Constructive Feedback: Provide and be willing to receive constructive feedback and avoid negative criticism. Aim to build others up rather than tear them down.
  9. Inclusive Participation: Welcome all members to events and gatherings, regardless of denomination or background, fostering a sense of belonging and unity within the community.
  10. Active Engagement: Participate actively and positively in community events, discussions, and activities, contributing to a vibrant and dynamic community life.
