New Kingdom: Gardeners

You are a Gardener, a follower of the divine creator, the Master Gardener.

Ages ago, the Master Gardener planted everything. Then, He created people to enjoy the fruit of His labor with Him. As the world grew, He appointed leaders called Gardeners from among the people to participate in His work with Him. They were given realms called Gardens to sow fruit-bearing Seeds in new corners of the world.

Over time, some of the Gardeners became defiant. They refused to follow the ways of the Master Gardener and abandoned their Gardens. As a result, sinister Thorns began to sprout and creep about on the earth which crowded out the fruit-bearing seeds spread by the faithful Gardeners that remained.

There is hope in an ancient prophecy, however. It is said the Master Gardener will return to build a new kingdom teeming with fruit and free of thorns. When He returns, He will assess the fruit produced by His faithful Gardeners in a great event known as the Harvest. The Gardener who produces the most fruit at the Harvest will be chosen to be called Head Gardener and lead the other Gardeners with the Master to build a glorious new kingdom free from oppressive thorns.
